Ineos has partnered with Costco to offer Executive members up to $2,000 off a new Grenadier, plus a $1,000 accessory voucher, as the British brand pushes for 35% US sales growth.

Ineos Automotive has turned to Costco to help shift its Grenadier off-roaders in the United States, offering Executive members a $2,000 discount on 2026 and 2027 models. The deal, which also includes a $1,000 credit towards Ineos accessories, is designed to support the British brand's ambitious target of growing US sales by up to 35 per cent year on year.
The incentive is available on both the standard Station Wagon and the Quartermaster pickup, provided the vehicle is delivered between 1 October 2026 and 4 January 2027. Only Costco Executive members who joined before 30 September are eligible, unlike the warehouse club's usual Auto Programme, which extends discounts to Gold Star members as well.
While $2,000 is modest against a starting price north of $70,000, it can be combined with Ineos's own customer cash offers. Those include $1,000 off basic Grenadier models, $2,000 off the 2026 Grenadier Fieldmaster, $3,000 off the Grenadier Trailmaster and $2,000 off the Trailmaster X. A buyer pairing the Costco discount with the Trailmaster cash offer could save $6,000 in total.
The partnership comes as Ineos seeks to accelerate its presence in the US market, where the Grenadier competes with established premium off-roaders such as the Land Rover Defender. The company has positioned the Grenadier as a rugged, utilitarian alternative with a starting price that places it firmly in the luxury segment, making every incentive a potentially decisive factor for wavering buyers.
Costco's Auto Programme is simultaneously running discounts on several other vehicles. Gold Star and Executive members can save $1,000 and $1,250 respectively on a new Volkswagen Atlas, Atlas Cross Sport, Tiguan or Taos. The all-electric Volvo EX90 carries a $2,000 discount for Executive members and $1,500 for Gold Star members, while the Volvo EX40 and EX30 are available with savings of between $1,000 and $1,250.
The tie-up reflects a broader trend among automakers to use membership-based retail programmes to reach affluent, research-driven shoppers. Costco's Executive tier, which requires an annual fee, attracts customers who are already inclined towards considered purchases, making the warehouse club an attractive channel for brands seeking to convert interest into sales without heavy discounting across their entire dealer network.
For Ineos, the Costco offer is a targeted move rather than a blanket price cut. By restricting eligibility to Executive members and requiring delivery within a specific window, the company can stimulate demand during a key sales period while protecting the residual values of its vehicles. The accessory credit also encourages buyers to personalise their Grenadier through Ineos's own catalogue, deepening the relationship with the brand.
Whether the incentive is enough to deliver the 35 per cent US growth Ineos is targeting remains to be seen. The Grenadier occupies a niche segment, and its price point means buyers are less likely to be swayed by a $2,000 saving alone. But combined with existing cash offers and the appeal of a distinctive, British-engineered 4x4, the Costco deal gives the brand another lever to pull as it fights for attention in a crowded American market.
