A 1997 Ferrari F355 Spider equipped with a six-speed manual transaxle is being offered for sale in the United States, presenting a rare opportunity for collectors and driving enthusiasts to acquire one of Maranello's most celebrated open-top V8 models. The car, finished in classic Rosso Corsa over tan Connolly leather, shows 41,000 miles on its six-digit odometer and comes with a clean Michigan title in the seller's name.

At the heart of the F355 Spider sits a mid-mounted 3.5-litre DOHC V8 featuring five valves per cylinder and dry-sump lubrication, factory-rated at 375 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The seller notes that an engine-out belt service was last completed in 2019, shortly before they purchased the vehicle, and the oil pressure sensor was replaced in March 2024.

The car has been modified with several notable upgrades. A Fiorano Handling Package big brake kit, sourced in August 2019, has been fitted, and the brake pads and rotors were replaced in 2025. A Tubi exhaust system and aftermarket catalytic converters have also been installed, with the removed factory catalytic converters included in the sale. The 18-inch five-spoke magnesium wheels are mounted with Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 tyres, and two wheels were replaced in 2025.

Service under current ownership has reportedly included refinishing sticky interior buttons and various trim pieces in March 2024, refreshing the soft top hydraulic system, and replacing the dashboard, oil pressure sensor, and brake pads and rotors. The seller states that the dashboard was replaced in 2019 due to shrinking leather. The air conditioning does not work, a fault disclosed by the seller.

The Pininfarina-designed body features a power-operated black convertible soft top whose hydraulic system is said to have been serviced in 2019. Exterior details include a convertible top boot, pop-up headlights, integrated front fog lights, an integrated rear decklid spoiler, a Challenge-style rear grille, quad exhaust outlets, a vented engine cover, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, and air intakes on the doors and rocker panels.

Inside, sport seats trimmed in tan Connolly leather are complemented by matching leather on the centre console, door panel inserts, and lower half of the dashboard. Amenities include a gated shifter, drilled aluminium pedals, and an Alpine stereo paired with a trunk-mounted amplifier. The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a 10,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Ancillary instruments in the centre stack include an analogue clock and gauges for fuel level and oil temperature.

The car is offered with owner's manuals, service records, spare parts, a tool kit, covers for the car, steering wheel, and seats, as well as the removed factory catalytic converters. A damage-free Carfax report is included, though it lists at least one open recall. Approximately 6,000 of the 41,000 miles have been added under current ownership.

The F355, produced between 1994 and 1999, is widely regarded as one of Ferrari's finest modern classics, bridging the analogue era and the increasingly digital supercars that followed. Its gated six-speed manual shifter and high-revving naturally aspirated V8 make it particularly desirable among purists, and examples with documented service history and desirable options such as the Fiorano Handling Package continue to attract strong interest from collectors.
