A 2008 BMW M3 convertible equipped with a six-speed manual transmission and a 4.0-litre V8 engine has been listed for sale, offering enthusiasts a well-documented example of the E93-generation open-top M car. The vehicle shows 82,000 miles on its digital odometer and comes with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a California title in the seller's name.

The car was initially sold by Princeton BMW in New Jersey before spending time registered in Georgia and California. It is finished in Space Gray Metallic over Black Novillo leather, a restrained colour combination that suits the M3's dual character as both a performance machine and a grand tourer. The retractable hardtop, adaptive xenon headlights, and quadruple exhaust outlets are among the exterior details, while rain-sensing wipers, retractable headlight washers, power-folding side mirrors, and rear parking sensors add everyday usability.

Under the bonnet sits the S65 4.0-litre V8 with double-VANOS variable valve timing, factory rated at 414 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Variable M Differential Lock. The seller states the transmission fluid was changed in February 2020. Service under current ownership, which began in 2020, has been thorough: both throttle actuators were replaced in January 2021, spark plugs in May 2022, and the fuel regulator, pressure sensor, and filter in October 2023. More recent work includes a new driver-seatbelt tensioner and rear tyres in September 2026.

The cabin features heated power-adjustable front sport seats upholstered in Black Novillo leather, with Carbon Structure Leather trim on the dashboard and doors. Driver-seat position memory, iDrive with navigation, Comfort Access keyless entry, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a CD stereo, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cruise control are all present. The multifunction leather-wrapped steering wheel has tri-colour stitching and frames an M-branded tachometer, a 200-mph speedometer, a central information display, and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The seller reports the driver-seat module was replaced in July 2023.

Chassis and braking hardware includes Electronic Damping Control, blue-painted calipers, and four-wheel vented and cross-drilled discs measuring 14.2 inches at the front and 13.8 inches at the rear. The 18-inch Style 219 wheels are mounted with Michelin tyres. The seller notes that light scratches are visible on the body and that a fault code is present in the right taillight module, though the light functions normally. The front lower control arm ball joint boot is worn, the power steering fluid is due for service, and the battery is due for a time-based replacement. The valve cover gaskets and VANOS cover are seeping oil, and some underbody cover panels are missing.

The digital odometer shows 82,000 miles, approximately 33,000 of which were added under current ownership. The car passed a California emissions test in September 2026. It is offered with service records, a clean Carfax report showing no accidents or other damage, and a duplicate California title. For buyers seeking a manual V8 convertible with a known history, this E93 M3 presents a transparent opportunity, with the seller's disclosures providing a clear picture of both its maintenance record and the work that lies ahead.
