A Dartz Prombron originally finished in gold for use in the 2012 Sacha Baron Cohen film The Dictator has been transformed by the Latvian manufacturer into the Black Stallion Type C, and is now being offered for sale. The truck, built by the Latvia-based Dartz Motor Company for film productions, was returned to Dartz in 2019 and outfitted by its Department of Opulence to its current specification.

The vehicle wears black carbon-Kevlar body panels over a Canadian-market 2003 Hummer H2 chassis. Power comes from a replacement 6.0-litre Vortec V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission, with the engine upgraded by a ProCharger supercharger kit. The rig is further equipped with a clamshell hood, LED lighting, a dual side-exit exhaust with quad finishers, tinted windows, side steps, and 22-inch Fuel Off-Road wheels wearing 35×12.50-inch Toyo Open Country M/T tyres. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs.

The interior is trimmed in white, tan, and brown leather upholstery with alligator hide accents on the dashboard, centre console, door panels, and sun visors. Brown quilted leather mats line the floors, while the seats feature tan leather with white quilted inserts and colour-coordinated upholstery extends to the headliner and door panels. A touchscreen infotainment system has been added to the centre stack, paired with a retrofitted digital instrument cluster integrating speedometer, tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. A Rockford Fosgate subwoofer sits in a custom rear enclosure with alligator hide and quilted leather accents, alongside Russian aircraft gauges, a Crunch amplifier, and a Carspa 1600W power inverter.

Dartz Motor Company was founded in Riga, Latvia, in 1988 by the great-grandson of a shareholder in automaker and aircraft manufacturer Russo-Balt. The name of that company's Latvian operation, Département Automobile de Riga, or D.A.R., was used to name the current company. The Dartz Prombron was launched in 2009 and has been offered in over 10 variants to date. This example retains a «WADAYA 1» front licence plate from the film, along with «Spirit of Bomber» mascots on the clamshell hood and tailgate. Gloss paint protection film is said to have been applied to the exterior.

The vehicle is now offered with a certificate from Dartz outlining its history, a Carfax report, and an Ohio title listing the truck as a 2003 Hummer. The Carfax report notes a 73,000-mile odometer reading in a November 2025 entry along with mileage inconsistency notations in November 2025 and June 2026. The digital odometer indicates just over 5,000 miles, and true mileage is unknown. The Ohio title carries an «NMVTIS46 GRAYMKT» notation.

The selling dealer acquired the truck in 2026 and notes that a replacement radiator, 250-amp alternator, battery, oil cooler lines, and drive belts were installed in July 2026. The push-button ignition is inoperative, and the truck only starts using the ignition key. Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels via a replacement four-speed automatic transmission installed at the time of the engine change, linked with a dual-range transfer case and a locking rear differential. Factory controls for the transfer case, automatic climate control, and other vehicle equipment have been relocated to the centre console. Further amenities include a sunroof, air conditioning, power windows, power-adjustable front seats, heated front and rear seats, and a rear radio with headphone inputs.

The flat-topped «Pilot» multi-function steering wheel is trimmed in tan leather and alligator hide. Tan and white quilted leather trim extends to the rear cargo area, which also features custom storage bins and aluminium cargo floor panels. A poster board and a certificate from Dartz are included in the sale.
