Porsche 911 Millennium Edition Heads to Auction With 117k Miles

A 2000 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Millennium Edition, one of just 911 examples produced worldwide, has been listed for sale on the online auction platform Bring a Trailer. The car is finished in the model's signature Violet Chromaflair paint and has covered 117,000 miles, with approximately 6,000 of those added under current ownership.
The Millennium Edition was a special run created to mark the turn of the millennium, and all examples left the factory in the same distinctive colour, officially coded L3C5. Porsche originally advertised the shade as shifting among brown, black and violet depending on the angle and lighting. The listing notes that the car carries a serialized plate on the centre console identifying it as number 805 of the 911 units built.
Power comes from a 3.4-litre M96 flat-six engine, factory rated at 300 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. It is linked to a five-speed Tiptronic automatic transaxle and an all-wheel-drive system. The transaxle was serviced in July 2023. The car also features Porsche Stability Management and an Automatic Brake Differential, along with front and rear Bilstein dampers.
The exterior includes xenon headlights, integrated fog lights, smoked front corner markers, a sunroof, a rear window wiper, a speed-activated rear spoiler and polished dual exhaust outlets. The front trunk struts were recently replaced. It rides on 19-inch Carrera Sport alloy wheels, though the listing states the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres require replacement. Braking is handled by silver Porsche-branded multi-piston calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated rotors, and the brake fluid was flushed in October 2025.
Inside, the cabin is trimmed in Natural Brown full leather that extends to the dashboard and door panels. The heated, power-adjustable front seats and folding individual rear seats are upholstered in the same material. Carbon-fibre trim was installed in place of the factory maple door pull trim under previous ownership. Other appointments include driver position memory, automatic climate control, wood- and aluminium-trimmed shifter and handbrake levers, a CD stereo, and Porsche Communication Management with navigation. The cabin filter was recently replaced, though the seller notes deteriorating foam in the climate control blend door flaps.
The leather- and wood-rimmed steering wheel wears an aftermarket cover and frames a central tachometer with a 7,200-rpm redline, a 180-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage and fuel level. The digital odometer reads 117,000 miles. The steering angle sensor was replaced in November 2023.
Service records indicate that over $15,000 in work was completed in the last 7,000 miles. Under previous ownership, the alternator, water pump, thermostat, serpentine belt, coolant reservoir, coolant hoses, ignition coils, spark plugs and engine mounts were replaced. The oil was changed and the engine decklid struts were replaced in 2025. The car was previously sold on Bring a Trailer in June 2023 and was purchased by the seller on the same platform in November 2024.
The sale includes an owner's manual, partial service records, removed interior and exterior components, and recent service documentation. A clean Carfax report is provided, free of accidents or other reported damage, and the car holds a clean California title in the seller's name.
