A 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS, one of only 541 examples built for the US market, is being offered for sale with 22,000 miles on the odometer. The car, a 997.2-generation model, is finished in Gray Black with red graphics and is presented by a selling dealer on consignment. It carries a clean Arizona title and comes with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, service records and a clean Carfax report showing no accidents or reported damage.
The GT3 RS was the track-focused variant of the 997 GT3, distinguished by a carbon-fibre rear wing and wider quarter panels. This example adds bi-xenon headlights with washers, fog lights, Dynamic Cornering Lights, clear LED taillights and dual centre-mounted exhaust outlets. The entire body is covered with paint protection film, according to the dealer. It rides on red 19-inch centre-locking multi-spoke wheels, reportedly fitted with staggered-width Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres in preparation for the sale. Braking is handled by Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes with yellow calipers, and the car features a front axle lift system. Factory equipment includes Porsche Active Suspension Management with adjustable coilovers. The rear brake pads and wear sensors were replaced in 2018, and a brake fluid flush was performed in June 2026.
Inside, the cabin is trimmed in black leather with red houndstooth cloth inserts on carbon-fibre-backed Sport bucket seats, which carry Porsche headrest crests. Optional carbon-fibre trim extends to the centre console, door sill inserts and dashboard, while red seatbelts and deviated stitching add contrast. The Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel frames Guards Red instrument dials, including a central GT3-branded tachometer with an 8,400-rpm redline and a 225-mph speedometer. The optional Sport Chrono Package Plus adds a stopwatch atop the dashboard with a Guards Red dial. Other features include Porsche Communication Management infotainment with navigation, a CD stereo, air conditioning and all-weather floor mats. The driver’s seat belt buckle assembly was replaced in 2019, and the dealer notes a blemish in the carbon-fibre trim above the glove box.
Power comes from a 3.8-litre Mezger flat-six with VarioCam variable valve timing, titanium connecting rods and dry-sump lubrication. Factory output was 450 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque, sent through a six-speed manual transaxle. Recent maintenance includes pinning the coolant pipes, fitting an AGM battery and replacing the ignition coils, front crankshaft seal, rear main seal and coolant expansion tank in 2018. A revised harmonic balancer and accessory drive belt were installed the following year, and service in June 2026 consisted of an oil change and new spark plugs. The selling dealer states that a 4.0-specification clutch and limited-slip differential have been fitted, along with Dundon Motorsports exhaust components. A replacement flywheel, pressure plate and clutch release bearing were installed in 2018, and the transaxle was rebuilt in 2019 by CMS in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Champion Porsche of Pompano Beach, Florida, and a total price of $172,390. The digital odometer shows 22,000 miles, approximately 12,000 of which were added under current ownership since 2018. With its limited production run, extensive service history and period-correct modifications, the car represents a significant opportunity for collectors of modern Porsche performance models.
