Lexus has introduced a new limited-production version of its IS 350 F Sport sedan, set to arrive in North America for the 2027 model year. The Special Appearance Package, limited to just 350 units, centres on a distinctive Envious Green paint finish that is paired with black 19-inch BBS forged alloy wheels and red brake calipers. The announcement marks the latest in a series of annual special editions and appearance packages that began in 2022.

The special edition builds on the recently facelifted IS 350 F Sport, retaining the model's naturally aspirated 3.5-litre V6 engine, which produces 311 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque. Buyers can choose between rear-wheel drive with an eight-speed automatic transmission or all-wheel drive with a six-speed automatic. The car comes standard with the Handling Package, which includes an adaptive variable suspension and, on rear-wheel-drive models, a Torsen limited-slip differential.

Exterior details include the F Sport bodykit, triple-beam LED headlights and a moonroof. Inside, the cabin features black NuLuxe perforated leather upholstery with Ultrasuede inserts on the F Sport seats, accented by green stitching. Satin chrome detailing appears on the steering wheel, centre console, dashboard and door cards. The specification also includes a power rear sunshade and a Mark Levinson audio system.

Safety equipment is comprehensive, with an advanced driver assistance suite that includes Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Change Assist and Intuitive Parking Assist. The model continues Lexus's strategy of offering a naturally aspirated V6 sports sedan in a market increasingly dominated by turbocharged and electrified powertrains.

The new model was announced at the conclusion of the four-city Lexus IS 25th Legacy Tour in Miami, Florida. It will reach dealerships later this year, with pricing to be announced closer to its market launch. The limited run of 350 units for North America is expected to generate strong interest among enthusiasts of the IS line, which has maintained a loyal following since its introduction.
