A 2004 Porsche 911 40th Anniversary Edition, number 756 of 1,963 built, is offered for sale with 57,000 miles, a six-speed manual, and the X51 Powerkit.

A 2004 Porsche 911 40th Anniversary Edition, one of only 1,963 examples produced, is being offered for sale in California with 57,000 miles on the odometer. The car, numbered 756 in the limited run, is finished in GT Silver Metallic over Natural Grey leather and is equipped with a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
The 40th Anniversary Edition was created to mark four decades of the 911 and was based on the 996-generation coupe. Every example left the factory in GT Silver Metallic and featured Aerokit side skirts, edition-specific rear badging, and a Turbo-style front bumper with enlarged cooling ducts. A sport suspension, cross-drilled brake rotors, and black-finished calipers were also standard. The car now offered also carries a GT3-style deck lid with a rear wing and 18-inch GT3-style wheels fitted in December 2025, wrapped in Michelin tyres. The removed factory wheels and rear deck lid are included in the sale.
Power comes from a 3.6-litre M96/03S flat-six equipped with the X51 Powerkit, which added revised intake and exhaust manifolds, modified camshaft profiles, and updated engine management software. Factory output is rated at 345 horsepower. An oil change was performed in December 2025. The engine is paired with a six-speed manual transaxle sending drive to the rear wheels.
Inside, the car features heated power-adjustable front seats trimmed in Natural Grey leather, which extends to the dashboard and door panels. The centre console is painted body colour and carries a serialised plaque identifying the car as number 756 in the 40 Jahre limited edition. Equipment includes the Power Seat and Bose High End Sound packages, a Becker Porsche CD stereo, a remote six-disc CD changer, automatic climate control, driver memory settings, a sunroof, and a rear window wiper. Instrumentation is accented by silver rings.
The Carfax report lists damage reported in July 2013, April 2014, and December 2014. The seller purchased the car in 2023 and has added approximately 800 miles during current ownership. The car is offered with the owner's manual, the removed factory parts, and a clean California title in the seller's name.
The 996-generation 911 has become increasingly sought after by collectors, particularly in limited-run specifications. The 40th Anniversary Edition sits between the standard Carrera and the Turbo in the model range, offering a blend of performance and exclusivity. With its manual gearbox, limited-slip differential, and X51 engine upgrades, it represents a focused driver's car from an era when Porsche was shifting towards more powerful and technologically complex models.
