A 1996 Ford Bronco XLT Sport with 91,000 miles is being offered for sale after a major refurbishment completed in 2026, with more than $20,000 spent on the vehicle. The truck was originally ordered through the Los Angeles district sales office and delivered to Metro Ford of North Hollywood, and it has remained registered in California throughout its life.

The most visible work was a repaint in Dark Toreador Red Clearcoat Metallic, carried out by Thunderbolt Motors in May 2026. The color-matched grille, bumpers and side steps, which were unique to the XLT Sport package, were finished to match. The refurbishment also included new tires, a reupholstered headliner completed by Nacho's Auto Upholstery in North Hollywood, and service to the air conditioning system.

Mechanical work was extensive. Since May 2026 the oil pan, rear main seal, plenum gasket, expansion plug, fan clutch, idler pulley, water pump, drive belt, thermostat gasket and engine mounts have been replaced. Earlier work in 2026 covered the ABS sensor, the right front brake caliper bracket, leaf springs, bushings, front and rear brakes and tires. The transmission mounts were replaced and the fluid drained and refilled. The truck most recently passed a California smog check in December 2025.

Power comes from a 5.8-liter V8 that was factory rated at 205 horsepower and 328 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case, which allow power to go to the rear wheels or all four. The drivetrain also includes a 3.55:1 limited-slip rear differential and manually locking front hubs. The 15-inch forged aluminum wheels are fitted with Cooper Discoverer AT3 tires, and a spare is mounted on the swing-away rear carrier.

The factory-optioned equipment list includes the XLT, Exterior Sport and Trailer Tow packages, along with the Luxury, Convenience and Interior Enhancement/Light groups. Inside, the cabin has front captain's chairs and a rear bench in Opal Gray cloth, cruise control, power windows, a power-operated tailgate window, air conditioning, a driver-side airbag, and an AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth added. Other exterior features include chrome-capped aero mirrors, a receiver hitch and a drop-down tailgate.

The build paperwork supports the truck's originality. The Deluxe Marti Report lists a build date of October 30, 1995, and shows that the truck was one of 660 ordered with the Bright Red Clearcoat (E4) paint code and one of 413 in its specific paint and trim combination. The Carfax report contains no accident or damage entries. The selling dealer acquired the Bronco in 2026, and the sale includes service records, the Deluxe Marti Report and a clean California title.
