A Superformance GT40 Mk I replica finished in Gulf-style light blue and orange livery is being offered for sale on dealer consignment, powered by a Roush 427IR V8 engine mated to a five-speed manual transaxle. The car was manufactured by Hillbank Motor Corporation and has been with its current owner since 2021, according to the listing.
The engine features an eight-stack individual throttle body fuel injection system, an MSD blaster ignition coil and a dual exhaust system with «bundle of snakes» headers. Power is sent to the rear wheels through the five-speed manual transaxle. Work in August 2026 included mapping of the FAST fuel injection system, an oil change and replacement of the valve cover gaskets and fuel filters.
The fiberglass bodywork is finished in a Gulf-style livery with light blue paint, an orange front bumper and a body-length stripe, plus white number 6 roundels. The car has side air intakes, covered headlights, dual exposed fuel filler caps and plexiglass side windows with pop-out vents. It rides on 15-inch BRM-style knockoff wheels with orange-painted centres, polished rims and three-eared knockoffs secured by safety wires. BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires were mounted in 2023.
Stopping power comes from Wilwood front and rear disc brakes. The car is equipped with coilovers using H&R springs and a KW hydraulic lift system. The front wheel bearings were replaced and the left rear hub assembly was overhauled in August 2026.
Inside, the cockpit features fixed-back bucket seats trimmed in black microsuede upholstery with ventilation grommets and Simpson harnesses. Air conditioning is fitted, and there is a Bob Bondurant signature on the dashboard. A grommet is missing from the driver's seat. The Moto-Lita steering wheel is mounted on a quick release and fronts instrumentation including a Speedhut Legacy 8,000-rpm tachometer flanked by auxiliary gauges, with a Speedhut Legacy GPS 200-mph speedometer to the right. The digital odometer shows 1,900 miles.
The car is titled using the State of Arizona Assigned Identification Number and is offered with service records and a clean Texas title listing it as a 1966 ASVE GT4. Bubbling paint around the engine lid is noted, and additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.
