A 1996 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra coupe, finished in Mystic Clearcoat Metallic over black leather and showing 29,000 miles, is being offered at no reserve. The car remained with its original owner until the current seller acquired it in 2026. It comes with a Ford Special Vehicle Team Certificate of Authenticity, the owner's manuals, a damage-free Carfax report and a clean New Jersey title in the seller's name, so buyers receive both the factory paperwork and a clear ownership record.

Power comes from a 4.6-litre V8 with electronic fuel injection, factory-rated at 305 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. The engine sends its output to the rear wheels through a Borg-Warner T45 five-speed manual gearbox and a Traction-Lok limited-slip differential. The six-digit odometer reads 29,000 miles. The Carfax report records no accidents or other damage, although it lists at least one open recall, which prospective buyers should check with a Ford dealer before committing.

The SVT Cobra was distinguished from the contemporary Mustang GT by its Cobra-logo fender badges and a revised front bumper cover. This example also carries fog lights, hood vents and dual exhaust outlets, all of which give the car its aggressive street profile. The seller acknowledges failing clear coat visible around the body, and detailed photographs of the exterior imperfections are presented in the gallery so that bidders can judge the condition for themselves. The 17-inch cast-aluminium five-spoke wheels show curb rash, and the car rides on four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with Cobra-branded front calipers.

Inside, the articulated front seats are upholstered in black leather, with a colour-coordinated dashboard, door panels and carpets. Standard equipment includes dual front airbags, power windows and locks, and air conditioning. The audio setup combines a cassette deck, a CD player and a Mach 460 audio system. The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, along with gauges for coolant temperature, voltage, oil pressure and fuel level.

Because the car is offered without a reserve, it will be sold to the highest bidder whatever the final price, which can be an attraction for collectors looking for an unmodified example of the model. The sale also includes the bill of sale and a collection of Ford and SVT literature, offering a complete picture of the car's documented history.
