A 1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Targa finished in Polar Silver Metallic is being offered for sale through Bring a Trailer, with 73,000 miles on the odometer and a list of recent mechanical work. The car is a 964-generation C2 Targa, powered by an air-cooled 3.6-litre M64 flat-six rated at 247 horsepower and 228 lb-ft of torque, and paired with a five-speed manual transaxle that sends power to the rear wheels.

The selling dealer acquired the car in 2026 and is a BaT Local Partner. The car is offered with service records, the owner’s manual, a Carfax report and a clean New York title. Since 2020, the steering rack, tie rods, valve cover gaskets, timing cover gaskets, flywheel and other components have been replaced, according to the listing. The Targa roof panel is removable, and the car carries a black satin-finish Targa bar and a speed-activated rear spoiler.

The Carfax report records a May 2012 entry for minor damage to the front of the car. A dent in the passenger door was repaired in 2014, and the hood struts were replaced in 2026. The listing also details work to the running gear: the rear control arm plates and rear toe links were replaced in 2026, and the car has Bilstein coilovers and a short shifter kit. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs with ABS.

Engine and drivetrain work includes aftermarket headers, new engine mounts, drive belts, camshaft seals, spark plugs and wires, a distributor cap and rotor, and valve cover gaskets, all replaced since 2020. The clutch assembly was replaced in 2015, and the pressure plate, flywheel assembly, clutch fork and clutch slave cylinder were replaced in 2024.

Inside, the power-adjustable front bucket seats are upholstered in black leather, with a colour-coordinated dash, centre console and door panels. The driver’s door upholstery was replaced in 2026. The leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation, including a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 180-mph speedometer, a Quarz analogue clock, and gauges for oil level, oil pressure, oil temperature and fuel. Amenities include power windows, cruise control, air conditioning and a Porsche Classic Communication Management system.

The 17-inch Cup wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tyres with 2020 date codes. Other equipment includes heated and power-adjustable side mirrors and integrated fog lights. The option sticker lists Polar Silver Metallic paint, black partial leather interior, a US-specification version, a Blaupunkt Reno SQR 46 cassette radio, cruise control and a sound system with amplifier.
