A lightly used 2014 Mercedes-Benz CL63 AMG with only 2,900 miles on the odometer is being offered at auction, with its P30 AMG Performance Package and a complete set of documents. The car is finished in Diamond White Metallic, paired with a Designo Porcelain and Black Exclusive leather interior, and offers a rare combination of low mileage and a clean history for a high-performance grand coupe of this generation.
Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 5.5-litre M157 V8 that, with the P30 package, is rated at 563 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. The package also adds a carbon-fibre engine cover and a 186-mph top-speed limiter. Drive is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed 7G-Tronic AMG Speedshift automatic transmission. Stopping power is supplied by cross-drilled and ventilated disc brakes at each corner, and the car runs an Electronic Stability Program and Active Body Control suspension. The Designo Porcelain Leather and Driver Assistance packages are both fitted, the latter adding Distronic Plus adaptive cruise control with Pre-Safe braking, Active Blind Spot Assist and Active Lane Keeping Assist.
Inside, the car is trimmed in Designo Porcelain Semi-Aniline and Black Exclusive leather, with Designo Black Piano Lacquer wood veneers, a Designo Black Alcantara headliner and Designo floor mats. The front seats are heated, ventilated and massaging dynamic multicontour units. Further equipment includes a factory-optional Splitview entertainment system, a back-up camera, AMG illuminated door sill guards, a Harman Kardon LOGIC7 sound system, a power rear sunshade, Night View Assist Plus, COMAND with navigation and a heated, wood- and leather-rimmed steering wheel with shift paddles. A tire pressure warning light is illuminated on the dashboard, and the digital odometer reads 2,900 miles.
Exterior features include a pillarless roof design with fully retracting side windows, active bi-xenon headlights with washers and cornering lights, a glass power sunroof, rain-sensing windshield wipers and heated power-folding side mirrors. The car also carries AMG-styled bumper covers and side skirts. It rides on chrome-finished 20-inch AMG forged twin five-spoke wheels fitted with Continental tyres. The Sport rear spoiler, a $655 option when new, is also fitted.
Documentation accompanying the car includes the window sticker, manufacturer’s literature and one key fob. According to the window sticker, the car was first delivered to Park Place Motorcars in Dallas, Texas, with a total retail price of $177,320. The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage, and the car carries a clean New Jersey title. It was recently acquired by the selling dealer, a Bring a Trailer Local Partner, and is now offered for sale in this form.
