A left-hand-drive 1993 BMW E34 M5 originally sold on the German market is being offered for sale on consignment through a Bring a Trailer Local Partner dealer. The car stands out for its Alpine White paint, which was specified without a sunroof, a configuration that is rare among Euro-market examples in this colour. It has also been fitted with a replacement 3.8-liter S38 inline-six, installed in the Netherlands before the car was imported to the United States.

The replacement engine is said to have been rebuilt before installation, though the exact date of that work and the full details of the rebuild are not specified. The current owner acquired the car on Bring a Trailer in August 2025. The car has covered about 256,000 kilometres, or roughly 159,000 miles, and about 4,000 kilometres were added during the current owner's period of ownership.

Inside, the car is trimmed in Anthracite M cloth with Amaretta suede, and it includes heated power sport seats, automatic climate control and a cassette stereo. Exterior details include fog lights, dual exhaust outlets and a revised front air dam, rear valance and rocker panels. The car rides on 17-inch M System II wheels with throwing-star covers, fitted with 2020-coded Pirelli P Zero tyres. Under the car, the chassis has Bilstein shocks and Eibach lowering springs, while the braking system uses four-wheel ventilated disc brakes with ABS.

The drivetrain combines a five-speed Getrag 280/5 manual gearbox with a limited-slip differential. Previous ownership saw the right front fender, bumper covers and side skirts repainted, and the seller notes that these areas were refinished before the current owner took over.

The recent maintenance history is extensive. An oil change was carried out in October 2025. In December 2025 the air conditioning system was rebuilt, with a Sanden 508 compressor, condenser, drier and lines replaced and the system recharged with R134a refrigerant. The secondary air injection pump was removed, and the fuel filter, fuel lines and cabin filter were replaced. Brake pad wear sensors were also replaced in December 2025, and the rear half-shafts were cleaned and reinstalled with new bolts during the same month. In 2026 the starter, the A/C belt and the power steering belt were replaced.

Earlier brake and suspension parts were reportedly replaced between 2018 and 2022, and the left-rear window regulator and trunk struts were replaced during the current ownership. The car is supplied with its owner's manual, service records and a tool kit. A Carfax report shows no accidents or reported damage as of October 2025, and the vehicle carries a clean Arizona title.

The seller has not specified the timing of the clutch replacement, so buyers will need to rely on the documentation provided for that part of the car's history. The offering is one of several recent examples of well-documented classic BMWs appearing on the market, where the paperwork and ownership history often weigh as heavily as originality in the buyer's decision.
