Seller Lists Heavily Modified 2017 Audi S6 With Tuned V8 on Bring a Trailer

A modified 2017 Audi S6 Prestige with a 4.0 V8 engine and extensive tuning is listed for sale with about 79,000 miles, several known faults and a list of upgrades.

A rare 2017 Audi S6 Prestige is up for sale with extensive modifications, after the seller listed it on Bring a Trailer. The car is one of only 56 examples of this model sold in the United States, and it is finished in Glacier White over an Arras Red interior. It now shows 79,000 miles, roughly 41,000 of which were added during the seller's ownership, which began when the car was bought in North Carolina in 2020.

Under the bonnet sits a twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 fitted with RS7 turbochargers and tuned by DynoSpectrum on its DS1 Stage 3 map, designed for 93-octane fuel. The package includes Silly Rabbit Motorsport intakes and a Stage 1 intercooler upgrade, APR downpipes and a full catback exhaust. The seven-speed S Tronic gearbox has received an SRM transmission tune, while the quattro all-wheel-drive system has an SRM driveshaft carrier, a stabiliser and 034Motorsport inserts.

The chassis has been reworked with EuroCode adjustable sway bars, and the car retains its adaptive air suspension. Braking has been upgraded with EBC YellowStuff pads and Goodridge stainless braided lines. In mid-2025 the car received Audi Sport 20-inch wheels fitted with 255/35 Pirelli P Zero tyres, and the owner has swapped between summer and winter wheel sets since 2020.

Visually the car carries the Black Optic Package, adaptive LED headlights and a sunroof. The trunk ring badge has been updated with carbon-fibre pieces and the S6 badges removed. An aftermarket screw-in tow hook has been fitted through the rear bumper. Window tints are listed as 20 per cent on the windscreen, 35 per cent on the rear glass, 5 per cent on the sides and 50 per cent on the sunroof. Inside, the Arras Red quilted Valcona leather seats, Bose audio and head-up display remain in place.

The equipment list includes the Driver Assistance Package, with adaptive cruise control, Pre-Sense Plus and lane assist. An AL Priority laser jammer has been installed, although the seller says the front radar unit does not work. A BlackVue 4K dashcam is partly installed. The vehicle history report notes a February 2018 rear-end collision described as very minor, and a Carfax record showing an earlier corporate registration in December 2016. The car now has an Alabama title in the seller's name, and the odometer is marked as not certified.

The listing also flags several problems. The check-engine light is on, and the adaptive cruise and braking guard functions are listed as unavailable. The rear-window tint is bubbling and the exhaust tips show wear. The air conditioning was serviced in May 2026. The sale includes the spare wheel and removed parts, among them the factory downpipes and an aftermarket grille, which gives a buyer the option to return the car towards standard specification.
