A 1996 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport coupe with just 26,000 miles is now offered for sale in Pennsylvania by its selling dealer. The car is one of 810 Grand Sport coupes built for the model year, a special edition produced to commemorate the end of C4 Corvette production.
The car was first delivered to Suburban Chevrolet-Geo in Sandy, Oregon. It is powered by a 5.7-litre LT4 V8, factory rated at 330 horsepower and 340 lb-ft of torque, which sends power to the rear wheels through a ZF six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The window sticker lists initial delivery details, factory colours, options and a total vehicle price of $45,914.
Finished in Admiral Blue Metallic, the car carries a white central racing stripe. All C4 Corvette Grand Sport examples were painted in Admiral Blue and featured that stripe, along with twin red hash marks above the left-front wheel. The exterior includes a removable body-colour roof panel, pop-up headlights, integrated fog lights, rear wheel arch extensions exclusive to the Grand Sport coupe, a Corvette-branded front plate cover, tinted windows and quad taillights. The 17-inch black five-spoke alloy wheels are finished in gloss black and mounted with older Sumitomo tyres. The dealer notes that exterior imperfections are highlighted in the accompanying video gallery.
Inside, the cabin has bucket seats trimmed in black leather with red Grand Sport headrest embroidery, along with power-adjustable sport seats. The Delco Bose CD and cassette stereo, cruise control, air conditioning and power windows and locks complete the specification. The two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central digital speedometer and fuel level monitor, with analogue instrumentation for the tachometer, oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature and voltage. The digital odometer reads 26,000 miles. Stopping power comes from four-wheel ventilated discs with ABS, and the car is equipped with Selective Real Time Damping.
Documentation accompanying the sale includes the window sticker, the owner's manuals, service records, a car cover, a clean Carfax report and a clean Washington title. The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and records that the crankshaft position sensor was replaced in July 2026. The car is offered by the selling dealer in Pennsylvania, while its original delivery was to a dealership in Oregon.
