A 1987 Jeep Wagoneer Limited, restored and modified by its current owner, is being offered at no reserve on dealer consignment, meaning it will sell to the highest bidder regardless of price. The XJ-generation Wagoneer comes with a comprehensive paper trail, including repair manuals, service records from the current ownership period, spare parts, a car cover and a clean Carfax report, as well as a clean Pennsylvania title.

The vehicle was acquired by the present owner in 2018 and went through a refurbishment programme. Rust repairs were carried out, and multiple panels were repainted and clearcoated, including the hood, roof, rocker panels, grille, front fascia and engine bay. Between 2024 and 2025, rust on the lower rocker panels was cut out and patched with new steel. The pinstriping and lighter woodgrain sections were also redone, and the roof rail end caps were rechromed in 2024. The seller notes some pitting on chrome pieces and scratches on certain body panels.

Mechanical and cosmetic upgrades extend beyond bodywork. A 1¾-inch lift kit has been fitted with Skyjacker Black Max shocks and heavy-duty rear leaf springs, and the vehicle rides on Mamba 15-inch wheels with 235/75 Cooper Discoverer AT3 tyres. Rear disc brakes from TeraFlex were added in 2019 to complement the front discs. The rear axle has been fitted with an Eaton TrueTrac limited-slip differential, and the seller notes the axle is a Dana 44. Front U-joints were replaced in 2018, and the front upper and lower control arms, tie-rod ends and track bar were replaced in 2021.

Under the bonnet, the 4.0-litre Power-Tech inline-six has been modified with a 60mm throttle body from Leigh Performance Machine, Pacesetter coated headers, a Flowmaster 50 Series stainless-steel exhaust system and replacement catalytic converters. The engine mounts, rear main seal, oil pump and oil pan were replaced in 2021, and the high-pressure fuel pump followed in 2024. Power passes through a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case, which can send drive to the rear wheels or all four.

Inside, the cabin features Cordovan corduroy and leather upholstery with colour-coordinated dashboard, centre console and door panels. The current owner replaced the carpeting and headliner and added a Pioneer CD stereo with four Pioneer speakers. Equipment includes power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, power windows and air conditioning, which was serviced in mid-2025 after the compressor was replaced in 2019. The seller notes that the power-lock actuators for the rear doors do not work. The odometer reads 113,000 miles, with approximately 4,000 added under current ownership.

Finished from the factory in Champagne Metallic with faux woodgrain trim, the Wagoneer was based on the mid-size Jeep XJ platform and featured model-exclusive woodgrain panelling and stacked headlights. Repair manuals, floor mats, a cargo cover, spare parts and an exterior cover accompany the sale, and around 20 pages of recent service records are included in the photo gallery.
