Sepsi OSK and Farul Constanța meet in the sixth round of the Romanian SuperLiga on Sunday, with just two points separating the sides at the start of play. The match at the Sepsi Arena in Sfântu Gheorghe kicks off at 16:00 local time and will be broadcast live on Digi Sport 1 and Prima Sport 1.

Farul enter the fixture in eighth place with eight points from five matches, having recorded two wins, two draws and one defeat. Their attacking record is among the best in the division, with nine goals scored, although they have also conceded seven. A victory in Sfântu Gheorghe would move them closer to the leading pack in the early-season standings.

Sepsi, by contrast, sit 11th with six points. The Covasna County side have won once, drawn three times and lost only once, but their goal difference of 2-2 reflects a team that scores little yet remains difficult to break down. They have conceded just two goals in five matches and are unbeaten in four league games, including draws with FCSB and Corvinul and a 1-0 win over U Cluj.

The recent head-to-head record favours Farul. Of the 15 direct meetings considered, the Constanța club have won eight, Sepsi have taken five victories, and two matches have ended level. The most recent encounter, in April 2025, ended in a convincing 4-1 win for Farul, achieved on Sepsi's own ground.

Farul come into the match after a 1-1 draw with FC Argeș, while Sepsi played out their third consecutive draw last time out, a goalless result against Csikszereda. The match officials have been confirmed, with M. Bîrsan as referee, assisted by M. Grigoriu and A. Ghinguleac, and R. Petrescu on VAR duty.

Opta statistics will track the match in real time, covering goals, assists, shots, corners, fouls, cards and offsides. These data points are also of interest to bettors, with operators offering a wide range of markets on shots, corners and disciplinary actions.

The match is expected to be a tight contest, pitting Sepsi's defensive solidity against Farul's attacking fluency. Sepsi have scored only twice in five rounds, while Farul have found the net nine times, making the clash at Sfântu Gheorghe a test of whether the hosts can contain one of the league's most productive forward lines.
