A 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale S finished in tricolore livery is being offered for auction, presenting a well-specified example of the Italian superbike with a documented history that includes a theft and recovery earlier this year. The motorcycle is powered by the 1,198cc Superquadro L-twin engine paired with a six-speed transmission, and it has accumulated 18,000 miles, approximately 300 of which were ridden under current ownership.

The bike is extensively equipped from the factory and through aftermarket additions. It rolls on 17-inch Marchesini tri-spoke forged aluminium wheels fitted with Pirelli tyres, while suspension duties are handled by semi-active Öhlins units, including a 43mm NIX30 inverted fork and a TTX36 monoshock connected to the aluminium single-sided swingarm via an adjustable linkage. Braking is provided by dual 330mm discs with radially mounted Brembo M50 four-piston calipers up front and a 245mm disc with a two-piston Brembo caliper at the rear, all controlled by a Bosch 9ME six-axis processor that enables cornering ABS.

Cosmetic and functional upgrades include CRG levers, Rizoma clutch and brake fluid reservoirs, bar-end mirrors, a tinted windscreen, a black Alcantara solo seat, Woodcraft Technologies rearsets, carbon-fibre fenders, a fender eliminator kit, and a Termignoni exhaust system. The electronics package is comprehensive, featuring a colour TFT digital dashboard with controls for suspension settings, engine braking control, riding and power modes, and EVO traction and wheelie control. A GPS-enabled Ducati Data Analysis+ system records and displays vehicle lean angles, and the bike also includes Ducati’s Quick Shift system and a carbon-fibre clutch cover.

The seller notes some imperfections consistent with prior use. A left-side fairing mount has been glued, and there is an imperfection on the right-side fairing. The bike has received repairs following damage under previous ownership, though the extent of those repairs is unknown. The Carfax report indicates that the motorcycle was reported stolen in April 2026, at which time an insurance claim was paid, and the vehicle was recovered in May 2026.

The sale includes a Ducati Data Analyzer, a Pitbull rear single-sided swingarm stand, passenger pegs, front and rear wheel nut sockets, and a Carfax report. The motorcycle holds a California title in the seller’s name. The auction listing notes that shipping arrangements for included accessories must be made between the winning bidder and the seller independently of the auction platform’s shipping estimator, which covers the motorcycle only.
