A low-mileage 2005 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG is being offered for sale, with 18,000 miles on the odometer and a powerful twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 under the long bonnet. The car, finished in Mars Red, is one of the more significant examples of the R230 generation that remain in the market, and the listing highlights a well-documented history that buyers of such cars typically look for.

The engine is the M275 twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12, which the factory rated at 604 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. The car has also been fitted with an Eisenmann exhaust system, and the Active Body Control suspension, Electronic Stability Program, Automatic Slip Control and an AMG High Performance Braking System with cross-drilled rotors are all part of the specification.

Visually, the SL65 carries a power-retractable hardtop with a panoramic glass roof, bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, fender air vents and AMG bodywork that includes a revised front spoiler, side skirts and quad exhaust outlets. The car rides on multi-piece 20-inch HRE wheels wrapped in 255/30 front and 305/25 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres, with a mix of 2024 and 2025 date codes. A Kleemann trunk badge completes the external details.

Inside, the multi-contour seats are heated, ventilated, massaging and power-adjustable, trimmed in Charcoal Exclusive leather with body-colour accents on the shift handle and centre console. Equipment includes dual-zone climate control, cruise control, a Bose sound system, a six-disc CD changer and COMAND with navigation. The steering wheel frames a 220-mph speedometer and a 7,000-rpm tachometer, alongside gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level.

The selling dealer acquired the car in 2026 and has added roughly 100 miles since, bringing the digital odometer to 18,000 miles. The vehicle is offered with a VMI report, partial service records, a clean Carfax report that shows no accidents or other reported damage, and a California title. The car most recently passed a California emissions test in August 2026.

Recent maintenance is detailed in the listing. In January 2026 the fluids were changed, the fuel system was serviced, and the fuel pressure sensor, air filters and spark plugs were replaced. The third brake light assembly and trunk hatch support struts were replaced in the same month, as was the right-front wheel hub assembly. Photographs of paint meter readings are included in the gallery so prospective buyers can assess the bodywork.
