A 1995 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo with a five-speed manual, a rebuilt VG30DETT V6 and a Stillen SMZ package is being offered at auction, with a clean Carfax report and an unresolved electrical draw.

A 1995 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo coupe, extensively modified and fitted with a five-speed manual gearbox, is being offered at auction with a detailed upgrade history and a clean title from Texas. The car was delivered new through Mossy Nissan in San Diego and later passed through the Stillen tuning workshop, where it was retrofitted with the Steve Millen SMZ package. The seller acquired the car in 2015 and has owned it through the period of most of the work described in its file.
The coupe's odometer reads 100,000 miles, with roughly 7,000 added under the current owner. A Carfax report is clean and records no reported accidents, which is a central point of reassurance for buyers considering a car of this age and modification level. The Texas title is also clean. The car has been repainted in Ultra Red, a job completed in March 2026, and its windshield has been replaced as part of the same period of cosmetic work.
Under the bonnet sits the 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged VG30DETT V6. The engine was overhauled by Houston Z in November 2018 and fitted with Z1 Motorsports GT675RS turbochargers and 740cc injectors, a combination that places the car firmly in the performance-modified bracket of the 300ZX market. In June 2025 the engine was removed from the car and resealed by Z Shack, also in Houston, a job that required the engine to be taken out of the chassis entirely. The drivetrain includes a limited-slip differential, an aluminium flywheel and clutch, and a five-speed manual gearbox that uses a 350Z shift fork. That gearbox was fitted about 1,500 miles ago, so it is the most recent major mechanical change recorded in the notes.
The chassis has been reworked with Tein adjustable coilovers and Stillen sway bars and control arms, allowing the ride height and handling to be tuned to the owner's preference. Stopping power comes from a Brembo front big-brake kit with cross-drilled and slotted rotors. The car rides on Yokohama AVS wheels, 17 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear, shod with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres measuring 245 at the front and 275 at the rear. The wider rear tyre is consistent with the rest of the car's performance focus.
Stillen body parts give the car a more aggressive look, including an SMZ-specific front fascia, a rear wing and extended rocker panels. The coupe also features removable glass roof panels, which give the car a targeted open-air character, and integrated fog lights. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in charcoal leather and includes a power driver's seat and a Bose and Alpine audio system, a combination of comfort and sound equipment that reflects the car's grand-touring intent alongside its performance hardware.
One issue remains open. A parasitic electrical draw has been noted and has not yet been diagnosed. Prospective buyers will need to weigh that unresolved fault against a well-documented build, a clean history report and a comprehensive record of engine and drivetrain work. The fault is the only item in the notes that remains unexplained, and it is the first thing a buyer would be advised to investigate before committing to the car.
