BMW's electric coupe-SUV iX4 50 xDrive, photographed in Eucalyptus Green, lists at €86,660 in Germany, €10,760 above its base price, with the more powerful iX4 M60 priced later.

The BMW iX4 50 xDrive, photographed in Eucalyptus Green, lists at €86,660 in Germany before delivery. That is €10,760 more than its €75,900 base price, and it gives a clear picture of what a well-equipped version of BMW's new electric coupe-SUV costs. The car is part of the NA7 generation, which replaces the G02 X4 that ended production in 2025 without a petrol successor.
The 50 xDrive in the photographs carries 21-inch M aerodynamic wheels in style 1051 M Bicolor and a bicolour Agave Green interior that picks up the exterior paint. Eucalyptus Green is the metallic green BMW first introduced on the Neue Klasse iX3. Nearby, the team also photographed an iX4 M60 xDrive in matte BMW Individual Frozen Pure Red, the colour BMW chose for the M60's official photographs and its public debut at the Athens auto show earlier this month. BMW has not yet priced the M60.
Below the beltline the iX4 is essentially an iX3. The two share a length of 4,782 mm, a width of 1,895 mm and a wheelbase of 2,897 mm. The iX4's roof sits 40 mm lower and slopes down to a decklid spoiler, and every iX4 comes with the M Sport package as standard. The 50 xDrive uses the iX3's two motors, producing 345 kW (463 hp) and 645 Nm of torque. That is enough for 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 210 km/h.
The coupe roofline brings a range benefit. With the same 108.7 kWh usable battery as the iX3, the iX4 50 xDrive is rated at up to 828 km on the WLTP cycle, 23 km more than the iX3 50 xDrive. It can charge at up to 400 kW. The trade-off is luggage space: 490 litres behind the rear seats, 30 litres less than the iX3. Giving up 30 litres of boot capacity for 23 km of extra range is a reasonable exchange by the standards of coupe-SUVs.
The iX4 M60 xDrive makes 450 kW (603 hp) and 875 Nm of torque, enough for 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 240 km/h. It outputs 100 hp more than the F98 X4 M Competition, the last full M version of BMW's coupe-SUV, which made 503 hp, though it is not a full M car. It uses the same battery as the 50 xDrive and is rated at up to 777 km on the WLTP cycle, 23 km more than the iX3 M60.
BMW adds an electronically controlled M Sport rear differential, adaptive M suspension with its own tuning, retuned variable-ratio steering and M Sport brakes. The car shown wears 22-inch M Y-spoke wheels in style 1054 M Bicolor, red high-gloss brake calipers and M Yellow Lights, with BMW's M Black interior design inside.
Orders for the iX4 M60 open in Germany in January 2027, with production starting in March alongside the 40 xDrive and 50 xDrive, whose sales begin that month. In the United States, the iX4 50 xDrive starts at $66,200 before destination, or $67,695 with the $1,495 destination fee, and the M60 arrives later in 2027. Every iX4 is built in Debrecen, Hungary, on the same line as the iX3.
