Houston dealer DriverSource has put nine classic cars up for sale in its 2026 Oktmotorfest Collection, with auctions opening on Tuesday, October 27 and additional lots set to be added in the following days. The lineup spans five decades of Porsche, BMW and Mercedes-AMG models, with the headline car a German-market Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole fitted with a widebody kit from Koenig Specials of Munich, one of the country's best-known tuning houses.

The Ferrari was first delivered new in Germany and is one of the most distinctive cars in the collection. Leonardo Fioravanti's 308 was Ferrari's first two-seat, mid-engined V8 road car, and the 32-valve Quattrovalvole, introduced in 1982, was a major refinement of the design. This example carries Koenig's flared and sculpted bodywork, a rear spoiler, Koenig mirrors, a quad-tip sport exhaust and a plate reading KOENIG-308. It was brought to Houston in the mid-1980s and has been under limited ownership there ever since, serviced for years by Ferrari of Houston. A major service, including the timing belts, was completed in August 2026, and the car was recently fitted with new Daytona-style seats trimmed in Italy using strips made on original Scaglietti dies. It also comes with service records and period Koenig paperwork, including price lists for widened rear fenders and a water-injected turbo kit.

Also featured is a 1974 BMW 2002 Turbo, a model that brought boost to European showrooms. Dieter Quester had already won the 1969 European Touring Car Championship in a boosted works 2002 before the road car arrived at the Frankfurt show in 1973, equipped with a KKK turbocharger and Kugelfischer mechanical injection. Just 1,672 were built. The car in the collection, chassis 4290236, was completed in Chamonix in March 1974 and delivered new through BMW Italia in Verona. It was garaged near Turin from 1982 until Oldenzaal Classics in the Netherlands refurbished it, and it has covered roughly 530 kilometres since.

The collection also includes a 1968 Porsche 912 Targa with a soft rear window and five-speed gearbox. Porsche introduced the Targa for 1967, naming it after the company's wins at the Targa Florio, and the soft-window cars are now the rarest versions, as most buyers opted for the fixed glass window from late 1967. This example was bought new by a Detroit resident and was serviced by Mahag of Munich at 5,100 miles, and its records list matching numbers and an original Light Ivory finish. A 1972 Porsche 911T coupe with the one-year-only external oil filler door and mechanical fuel injection is described as unrestored, retaining its original Sekurit glass and Pepita houndstooth upholstery. Its paper trail includes a sales invoice from Stoddard Imported Cars of Willoughby, Ohio, dated September 1972.

Rounding out the selection is a 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa in Guards Red, one of just 246 of the model imported to the United States that model year, and a 2001 BMW Z8 with 27,000 miles, one of 137 finished in Bright Red over black Nappa leather. Designed by Henrik Fisker as a modern take on the 507, the Z8 is accompanied by a colour-matched hardtop and a service history running from 2001 to this year. The Oktmotorfest name nods to the autumn beer festival, with the collection's preview inviting bidders to raise a glass to the lineup.
