A 1998 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa has been listed for sale on dealer consignment, offering collectors a late example of the air-cooled 993 generation with a distinctive sliding glass roof. The car is finished in Ocean Blue Metallic over a Boxster Red Special Leather interior and is accompanied by a Porsche Production Specifications sheet, a Carfax report, and a California title.
The 993 Targa was based on the convertible bodyshell and featured a revised roof with a lifting and sliding glass centre section, rather than the removable top found on earlier 911 Targa models. This example is equipped with headlight washers, fog lights, power-adjustable mirrors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets. It rides on silver-finished 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels mounted with Pirelli P Zero Rosso tyres, while braking is handled by Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.
