A Japanese-market 2001 Ferrari 360 Spider, exported to Canada in 2021 and now showing 65,000 kilometres, is offered for sale with recent engine and transmission work.

A Japanese-market 2001 Ferrari 360 Spider is being offered for sale after being exported to Canada by its current owner in 2021. The car has covered 65,000 kilometres, approximately 41,000 miles, of which about 6,000 kilometres have been added under current ownership. It is finished in Grigio Alloy over grey leather and is powered by a 3.6-litre V8 paired with a six-speed F1 sequential transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
The Pininfarina-designed aluminium body features xenon headlights, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, a power-retractable blue convertible soft top, a Challenge-style rear grille and quad exhaust outlets exiting through the rear fascia. The convertible top hydraulic pumps were rebuilt in March 2023, though the seller notes the top is slow to function. Imperfections are visible on the left door, and the left side of the front bumper has a crack. The car rides on 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels with 215/45 front and 275/40 rear Pirelli P Zero tyres, while silver-finished Ferrari-branded calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated rotors provide stopping power.
Inside, the cockpit is trimmed in grey leather with matching door panel inserts and carpets. Power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, a Kenwood head unit, aluminium pedals and an Assura GPS are fitted. The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 340 km/h speedometer and a tachometer with an 8,500-rpm redline, along with digital fuel level and oil pressure, oil temperature and coolant temperature gauges. Paddle shifters for the F1 gearbox are mounted behind the steering wheel. The digital odometer shows 65,000 kilometres, and the anti-slip regulation light is illuminated.
The mid-mounted 3.6-litre Tipo F131 V8 features a flat-plane crankshaft, dry-sump lubrication, dual overhead camshafts and five valves per cylinder. Factory-rated output was 400 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. The exhaust system has been modified with a remote valve controller. Recent maintenance includes a coolant flush and replacement of the water pump, thermostat, front camshaft seals and passenger-side valve cover gasket in 2021, while the ignition coils and spark plugs were replaced in March 2023. The battery was replaced in 2026. The transmission heat exchanger was replaced and the fluid flushed at approximately 61,000 kilometres in 2021.
The car is offered with owner's manuals, service records from current ownership, a clean Carfax report and an Alberta registration. The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage from its initial entry in July 2021. This 360 Spider represents a well-documented example of Ferrari's early-2000s open-top V8, with recent mechanical attention that should appeal to buyers seeking a usable modern classic.
