A rare 1999 Ferrari F355 Spider Serie Fiorano, one of roughly 100 examples built for the United States market, has been listed for sale in Florida. The car, chassis number 38 of the limited run, shows just 21,000 miles and is accompanied by its owner's manual, service records, and a clean Carfax report.
The Serie Fiorano was a factory-finished special edition that added competition-derived hardware to the already celebrated F355. Each of the approximately 100 US-market cars received a Challenge-style rear grille, carbon-fibre interior trim, a revised suspension with a wider track and lower ride height, higher spring rates, larger-diameter sway bars, and a competition-spec steering rack. The model also benefited from a remapped ECU, sharpening the response of the mid-mounted 3.5-litre V8.
That engine, a five-valve-per-cylinder unit with dry-sump lubrication, was rated at 375 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque when new. In March 2026, the car underwent a timing belt service during which the tensioners, drive belts, spark plugs, air conditioning compressor, catalytic control units, thermocouples, and catalytic converters were all replaced. The brake fluid and power steering fluid were also changed the same year. Power reaches the rear wheels through a gated six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
Finished in the classic shade of Blue Tour de France over tan Connolly leather, the Pininfarina-designed body features a power-operated blue soft top, pop-up headlights, integrated front fog lights, a rear decklid spoiler, quad exhaust outlets, a vented engine cover, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, and air intakes on the doors and rocker panels. The front bumper cover was refinished in preparation for the sale. The car rides on silver 18-inch five-spoke magnesium wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport tyres, while Ferrari-branded red brake calipers grip cross-drilled and ventilated discs at each corner.
Inside, sport seats trimmed in tan Connolly leather are matched by leather on the centre console, door panel inserts, and the lower half of the dashboard. Equipment includes automatic climate control, drilled aluminium pedals, a gated shifter, and a Pioneer stereo. A dashboard plaque identifies the car as number 38 of 100 Serie Fiorano models. The selling dealer notes that the car's sticky buttons have been refinished, a common remedy for ageing Italian interiors.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a 10,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Ancillary instruments in the centre stack include an analogue clock and gauges for fuel level and oil temperature. The six-digit odometer reads 21,000 miles.
The F355 remains one of Ferrari's most admired modern classics, bridging the analogue era and the digital age. The Serie Fiorano, named after Ferrari's own test track, is among the rarest and most driver-focused variants, making well-documented examples with low mileage particularly sought after by collectors. This car is offered with a Virginia title and is located in Florida.
