A 1999 Land Rover Defender 110 station wagon, refurbished in France and imported to the US in 2025, is offered for sale with 83,000 kilometres and a rebuilt Td5 engine.

A 1999 Land Rover Defender 110 station wagon that was first sold in Romania, refurbished in France and imported to the United States in 2025 is being offered for sale by a dealer. The truck has covered 83,000 kilometres, roughly 51,000 miles, and comes with service records, refurbishment photographs and a clean Carfax report.
The vehicle underwent a comprehensive refurbishment in France in 2019. That work included a rebuild of its 2.5-litre turbodiesel Td5 inline-five engine, servicing of the brakes and suspension, and refinishing of the frame and various underbody components in an anti-rust coating. The engine rebuild, carried out in January 2020, replaced a connecting rod, piston rings, big-end bearings, valve stem seals and the timing chain along with its tensioners and guides. The glow plugs, accessory belt and fuel pressure regulator were replaced in late 2019, while the fuel pump was changed in September 2020.
After arriving in the United States in 2025, the Defender was stripped to bare metal inside and out and fitted with replacement door hinges, side mirror mounts and floor panel hardware before being repainted white with a silver roof. Exterior equipment includes LED headlights, turn signals and taillights, a Safari snorkel, mudguards, rear bumperettes and a roof rack with storage containers and a James Baroud hard-shell pop-up tent. The 16-inch 12-hole steel wheels were mounted with BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K03 tyres in September 2025, and a matching spare is fixed to the rear door.
Mechanical attention has continued since the truck reached American shores. The shocks, steering damper, tie rod ends and wheel studs have been replaced, and the brake fluid has been flushed. The rear crankshaft seal and the valve cover and oil pan gaskets were replaced in October 2025, at which time the coolant was changed. The coolant temperature sensor was replaced in July 2026. The transfer case fluid was also changed in October 2025. Earlier brake work saw the front and rear calipers replaced in October 2019 and the rear rotors replaced in September 2020.
Power is delivered to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case, with a locking centre differential. The Td5 engine was factory rated at 122 horsepower. Inside, the front and second-row seats and the inward-facing rear jump seats are upholstered in gray cloth. Amenities include air conditioning, which was recharged during an August 2025 service, a centre console with cup holders, and an Alpine CD stereo with Bluetooth connectivity. Instrumentation consists of a 200 km/h speedometer and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level.
The digital odometer shows 83,000 kilometres, approximately 600 of which were added under current ownership. The Texas title notes «Exempt» under the Odometer Reading heading. The Carfax report is free of accidents or other damage from an initial entry in March 2025. The sale includes service records, refurbishment photos and the clean Carfax report.
