Totem Automobili, the Italian firm known for its radical Alfa Romeo restomods, has unveiled its latest creation during Monterey Car Week. The new GT Super, named Litorale Brado, is a bespoke coupe commissioned by a Californian owner and is finished in a custom triple-layer metallic paint called Big Sur Green, a nod to the state’s lush coastal scenery. The color is complemented by lightweight carbon fiber body panels, dark wheels, and subtle Tricolore accents on the side skirts and engine plenum, giving the car a stealthy yet distinctly Italian character.
Inside, the cabin is a showcase of craftsmanship tailored to the owner’s hobbies. As an amateur woodworker, the client requested a steering wheel and gear shift knob made from Wenge and Maple wood, materials that add a warm, organic contrast to the high-tech surroundings. The interior also features brown leather upholstery across the seats, dashboard, transmission tunnel, and floor mats, while Totem’s signature herringbone-weave carbon fiber appears on the seat backs and door panels. Several controls have been relocated from the dashboard to an overhead console in the headliner, and even the stalks and steering column are crafted from carbon fiber and titanium, making every detail feel like a piece of art.
Under the skin, the GT Super is powered by a 2.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 with independent throttle bodies. In standard form, it produces 591 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, but Totem also offers a more potent version with 739 horsepower and 627 lb-ft. The exact specification of this particular car has not been disclosed, but either output promises a thrilling drive along the Pacific Coast Highway, a route the owner likely has in mind.
This latest reveal comes as Totem continues to develop three related V12-powered mid-engined supercars, but the company has not forgotten the restomods that established its reputation. Each GT Super is built to order, with clients able to specify everything from paint color to interior materials, ensuring no two cars are alike. The Litorale Brado, with its unique blend of natural wood, high-tech carbon fiber, and powerful twin-turbo V6, stands as a testament to Totem’s commitment to blending classic Alfa Romeo styling with modern performance and personalization.
