A 1975 Maserati Khamsin with a five-speed manual gearbox is being offered without a reserve through a New York dealer, with Maserati Classiche documentation and a clean Tennessee title.

A 1975 Maserati Khamsin is being offered at no reserve in New York through 1600Veloce, a Bring a Trailer Local Partner. The car, chassis 1100, is a Tipo 120 built in November 1975 as one of 435 examples produced over a nine-year run. It is offered with Maserati Classiche documentation, service records and a clean Tennessee title.
The car was originally assembled as a US-market example but was first delivered in Spain, where it stayed registered until it moved to France in 2018. It was later imported back to the United States before the selling dealer bought it in 2026. It was then offered on Bring a Trailer in September of the same year and is now being offered again from New York. The car is finished in Celeste Chiaro, a light metallic blue, and has been refinished at some point in its life.
The Khamsin debuted at the 1972 Turin Auto Show and was the first series-production Maserati designed by Bertone, with bodywork by Marcello Gandini. Its chassis was derived from the contemporary Ghibli, and its styling featured a wedge-shaped profile, offset hood louvers, pop-up headlights and a Kamm tail with a transparent glass panel. The car entered production in 1974, and roughly 155 examples were sold in the United States before production ended in 1982.
This particular car carries Euro-style bumpers front and rear. Its rear panel has been replaced with a European variant that uses floating taillights rather than the units mounted beneath the glass found on US-market cars. The listing notes bubbling in the paint and other finish flaws, which are shown in close-up images in the gallery.
Power comes from a front-mid-mounted 4.9-litre DOHC V8 carried over from the Ghibli. The engine has an aluminium block, dual overhead camshafts on each bank and dry-sump lubrication, and it breathes through quadruple Weber carburettors that were overhauled in June 2024. Work completed at the same time included replacing the fuel tank and the wiring harness for the cooling fans. Drive reaches the rear wheels through a fully synchronised five-speed manual gearbox, and the driveshaft was balanced in 2024.
Braking uses four-wheel discs with Citroën-sourced high-pressure hydraulics, which also operate the DIRAVI speed-adjustable power steering. The car rides on four-wheel independent suspension with coil springs, telescopic dampers and torsion bars, and the steering regulator was overhauled in 2024. The 15-inch Campagnolo wheels wear octagonal spinners and 225/60 General AltiMAX tyres with 2025 date codes.
The cabin is a 2+2 layout trimmed in blue leather, with suede inserts on the door panels and black mouse-hair trim across the dash. The white headliner, coordinated carpeting and a three-spoke steering wheel with a Maserati horn button sit alongside Veglia Borletti instrumentation, including a 300 km/h speedometer and an 8,000 rpm tachometer. Equipment includes air conditioning, a tilting and telescoping steering column, a passenger footrest and a Blaupunkt cassette stereo. The driver's seat offers hydraulic height adjustment, and creasing is visible on the front seats.
The five-digit odometer reads 88,000 kilometres, roughly 55,000 miles, with about 20 kilometres added by the selling dealer. The Maserati Certificate of Origin and copies of factory documentation, including a Technical Aesthetic Characteristics certificate, are shown in the gallery.
