A 1988 Ferrari Testarossa finished in Nero over Nero leather is being offered through Bring a Trailer, a collector car marketplace, after being acquired by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner. The car, which has covered 28,000 miles, is now located in Florida and comes with an owner’s manual, a car cover, a battery tender, service records, a Carfax report and a clean Ohio title.
Power comes from a 4.9-liter flat-12 that was factory rated at 380 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. The engine is linked to a five-speed manual transaxle with a gated shifter, and power reaches the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential. A Tubi Style exhaust system was installed under previous ownership, and the most recent timing belt service was carried out in 2021, when the valve covers were refinished and the alternator and air conditioning compressor were rebuilt. Replacement fuel pumps were fitted in 2022, and the rear main seal, oxygen sensor and shift shaft seal were replaced in 2024. The battery was replaced in 2025.
The Pininfarina-designed body carries pop-up headlights, fog lights, side intake strakes, quad exhaust outlets and an asymmetrical cooling duct beneath the left fog lamp. Aftermarket Scuderia Ferrari fender shields were added by a previous owner, and the car rides on 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels fitted with Continental ExtremeContact tyres. Ventilated disc brakes were fitted with new pads and rotors in 2022. The Carfax report records an accident in November 2025, after which the front bumper cover was repaired and the headlights were replaced. Exterior imperfections are highlighted in the photo and video galleries.
Inside, Nero Connolly leather covers the seats, door panels and lower dashboard, and the dashboard has been reupholstered under current ownership. The headliner has been replaced and parts of the upholstery repaired. The car has air conditioning, but the blower motor only works on the highest setting. Other cabin features include motorised seat belts, power windows and an aftermarket stereo.
The leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation, including a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, alongside gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. A clock and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and oil temperature sit in the centre stack. The selling dealer notes that a handful of the 28,000 miles on the six-digit odometer were added during its ownership.
