A 1983 Porsche 911SC coupe is currently offered for sale. It is a unit intended for the American market, ordered through Porsche's European Delivery program, which allowed buyers to pick up their car directly in Europe before registering it upon their return.
The vehicle is painted in black with a matching black leather interior. It is equipped with a limited-slip differential, sport shock absorbers, a sunroof, a black headliner and a sport steering wheel with a raised hub. The engine is a 3.0-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. The 16-inch Fuchs wheels, fog lights, front and rear spoilers, power windows and JVC head unit with Bluetooth and satellite radio complete the list of equipment. According to the seller, the vehicle was registered within the family of the previous owner from 1995 to 2016, when it was acquired.
The seller details a series of work carried out during their ownership. Carrera-specification timing chain tensioners were installed in 2019, along with the replacement and balancing of the clutch and the replacement of the rear crankshaft seal. The front wheel bearings were cleaned and regreased in 2017, and the wheel seals were replaced at that time. The air conditioning system received a new compressor in 2017, but it currently does not produce cold air. The battery was replaced in 2020, and the seller indicates that a battery maintainer is used when the car is stored. The most recent oil change dates from August 2026.
The odometer shows 73,000 miles, of which approximately 6,000 were driven under the current owner. The odometer was out of service from 2010 to 2014, a period during which the seller estimates the car was driven about 800 miles per year. The hood was repainted under a previous owner, and an invoice from 2008 mentions the repair of a dent in the left door. The sunroof seals were replaced in 2017.
The vehicle comes with the original documentation, owner's and repair manuals, repair invoices dating from 1997, the factory tool kit and a Halon fire extinguisher. The Carfax report is clean, and the Oregon title, issued in the seller's name, is also clear. Photos of the paint thickness readings and exterior condition are available in the listing gallery.
