A 2018 BMW M3 Competition Package finished in Individual Grigio Telesto Pearl Metallic is being offered for sale on consignment, with its odometer showing just 7,000 miles. The F80-generation super-saloon, originally delivered to a dealership in West Chester, Pennsylvania, with a suggested retail price of $81,045, has been lightly used and extensively modified by its current owner, who acquired it in 2024 after it served as a corporate vehicle.
The car's specification is unusually comprehensive. Beyond the Competition Package, which brought gloss-black kidney grilles, side gills and rear badging, a quicker steering ratio, stiffer springs and anti-roll bars, and revised Adaptive M Suspension and stability control settings, it was ordered with the Executive and Driving Assistance packages. Factory equipment includes adaptive LED headlights, heated front and rear seats, a heated steering wheel, a head-up display, Park Distance Control, a backup camera, carbon-fibre trim, black Merino leather upholstery, wireless charging, Apple CarPlay, a Harman Kardon sound system, Comfort Access keyless entry and navigation. A carbon-fibre roof panel and Shadowline trim complete the exterior look.
Power comes from BMW's twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre S55 inline-six, rated at 444 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque in Competition specification. It drives the rear wheels through a seven-speed M DCT dual-clutch transmission and an electronically controlled Active M differential, which was serviced in July 2024. The engine benefits from a Dinan heat exchanger and carbon-fibre intakes, stainless-steel Akrapovič downpipes and a titanium Akrapovič exhaust system. The oil was changed and replacement spark plugs and a cabin filter were fitted in 2024.
Chassis upgrades are equally thorough. Öhlins Road Sport 3DM coilovers have been installed at all four corners, along with an EDC cancellation kit, adjustable anti-sway bar end links, front mono balls, adjustable rear toe arms, and replacement front and rear brake pads and sensors. Braking is handled by blue-finished M-branded calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated rotors. The car rides on staggered 19-inch and 20-inch Style 763M alloy wheels wrapped in Continental ExtremeContact tyres fitted in 2024.
Inside, the cabin retains its black Merino leather seats and carbon-fibre dashboard and centre console trim. A Bavsound Stage Two speaker upgrade with subwoofers has been added, along with a hardwired radar detector. The heated leather multifunction steering wheel features paddle shifters and frames a 200-mph speedometer, an 8,500-rpm tachometer and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level.
The exterior has been carefully preserved. XPEL Ultimate Plus paint protection film was applied to the entire body in July 2024, when XPEL Fusion ceramic coating was also applied to the paint, wheels, calipers and glass. The car has been retrofitted with European-specification front bumper, grilles and taillights, giving it a subtly different appearance from US-market examples.
Documentation includes the original window sticker, service and modification records, and a clean Carfax report showing no accidents or other reported damage. The car is offered with a New Jersey title, though a lien is currently held by the owner's lender, which will need to be settled before the title can be transferred to a new owner.
The F80 M3 remains a landmark model for BMW M, combining widened bodywork and revised fender vents with a twin-turbocharged straight-six and the option of a dual-clutch transmission. Competition Package cars are particularly sought after for their sharper chassis tuning, and low-mileage examples with Individual paint and a well-documented modification history occupy a distinct position in the modern performance car market. This example's combination of modest mileage, extensive records and factory-optional equipment is likely to attract interest from collectors and enthusiasts alike.
